Whadddup! So, again, I am introducing another author to this blog. Enter Danny Dee (his twitter). From the Bay Area, Danny Dee and I have known each other throughout the music biz for about 5 years now. We were actually both DJ's on the same radio station street team back in the day runnin around the streets of the bay. Fast forward past his recent job as VP of Social Media Biz Dev for Clear Channel Radio-SF and his annual Bay Area Rap Summits, Danny Dee has created a new lane for himself in the bay that has taken shape over the past 6 months or so. In the current music biz we have today, everyone is scrambling to find out what works and how to win/sell records/get fans/etc...well one thing we do know for sure is that the Internet(Blogs/etc) and all these social media sites (Twitter/Facebook/Myspace/Reverbnation) are all a big part of music's future, so we might as well settle in.

I myself am always looking for the best strategies to attack this Web 2.0 stuff and am always benefiting from the info I find, so I thought I'd add that element as a permanent addition to the blog so other artists/managers/bloggers can benefit too.
